This site is intended to provide information about the reenactors of Co. H, 2nd Btln, 120th IR, 30th ID. We are a group of WWII reenactors from the Nashville, TN area. We are known for two things: Mother and personality!

We'll start with Mother. We are fortunate enough to get to field an M2 .50 caliber heavy machine gun. For those unfamiliar with the weapon, it is a crowd pleaser! The M2 is a classic Browning design that fires .50 caliber shells garaunteed to shred almost any vehicle short of a tank. This particular weapon was once mounted on a Navy torpedo plane during WWII! After spending many years underwater, it was salvaged, cleaned up, and, would you believe it, it still works like a charm! There is never a doubt when we bring Mother to fight, and the audience is always drawn to the sound.

The other thing that we are known for is personality. It is hard to meet a more colorful bunch than those of us who reenact with the 120th. Never misunderstand our intentions. We do believe in putting on a historically correct impression, but our first and foremost concern is that we HAVE FUN! This is our hobby, and we plan on living it up as best as we can.
